Who's behind TradesRank
I'm Viktor. I'm based in London, and I started TradesRank because I kept seeing trade businesses with the same operational gap I used to deal with from the inside of service businesses — no real digital presence, clunky or non-existent websites, and no way to get leads without paying Bark or Checkatrade for every single job.
My background
My career started in hospitality management. I managed restaurants and front-of-house teams for over a decade — including at the Ivy Collection and SticksNSushi — coordinating fast-moving operations, managing customer experience at scale, and running the kind of service business where every detail matters and a slow day costs real money.
From there I moved into project coordination and freelance IT support — working hands-on with small business systems, CRMs (HubSpot, GoHighLevel), cybersecurity, and technical problem-solving for small and medium businesses.
That combination — actually running a service business from the floor, plus the technical side of fixing and automating systems — is what led to TradesRank.
Why trades?
Trade businesses have a specific problem. They're often fantastic at their craft and terrible at being found. Their customers search locally, often urgently, on mobile, and on voice assistants. The tools available to find them — Checkatrade, Bark, MyBuilder — charge a fee for every lead and create no lasting asset for the business owner.
A well-built website with proper local SEO is different. It's an asset that compounds. A business that owns its local Map Pack ranking doesn't pay per lead — it just keeps getting calls.
How we work
I work with a small number of trade business clients at a time. Every website is custom-built — no templates. Every campaign is specific to the trade and location. Not a factory — something specific to you.
