The client
The Tree Amigos Landscaping and Gardening Ltd is a London-based landscaping and gardening business. They came to TradesRank with no website, no online presence, and no way for potential customers to find them outside of word of mouth.
What we built
We designed and built the entire website from scratch — including the logo and branded business card design. No templates, no page builders. Mobile-first, Core Web Vitals optimised, with schema markup from day one.
The GEO challenge — brand entity confusion
After launch, we identified a significant GEO problem: a separate, unrelated company called 'The Tree Amigos Ltd' was operating in a different sector but sharing enough of a name that Google and AI tools were conflating the two. Search results were mixing information about the two companies, undermining the client's digital presence and trustworthiness.
We resolved this through:
- schema.org structured data — clearly defining the legal name, trade category, and service area
- Entity disambiguation — adding clear differentiating signals across every online presence
- A targeted review-platform strategy — ensuring consistent, verified reviews appeared under the correct entity
- Directory listing corrections across all citation platforms
Local SEO & Google Map Pack
We set up the Google Business Profile, optimised categories and services, and began targeting competitive local landscaping keywords across the South London service area.
Results
Positions 7-13 for competitive local landscaping terms within the first month of launch. The campaign is active and ongoing — results will continue improving as the domain matures and content is added.
